
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited a command post of the Tactical Group Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, where he met with commanders from the Drone Line initiative.
Zelensky shared details of the visit on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“I visited the command post of the Tactical Group Pokrovsk and met with the commanders of the Drone Line, which united the finest unmanned systems units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote.

During the visit, Zelensky received a briefing on the defense of the Pokrovsk sector, the operational situation, and ongoing missions. He also honored soldiers with state awards.

According to Zelensky, commanders Madyar, Achilles, Hasan, Veres, and Zemlyak briefed him on the first results of the Drone Line’s work during the operation in the Kursk region, as well as in the Donetsk direction and other key areas.
According to the presidential press service, acting commander Yuriy Madyar briefed Zelensky on the defense of the Pokrovsk sector, including the current battlefield situation, the effectiveness of deployed brigades, and intelligence on Russian forces and their capabilities.
The president awarded warriors with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, II and III Class, and discussed further expansion of the Drone Line project, funding, and regulatory adjustments to grant more operational independence to the units.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone supporting Ukraine and contributing to its defense.
