Ukraine’s plan is to put pressure on Russia, prepare security guarantees together with partners and achieve peace in 2025.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in his speech at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“We really want peace and we are working on it. We will prepare security guarantees as we see them. We will share them with the United States, and I hope they will share their view. A common view is very important for me, in order to hear all our partners in Europe and the United Kingdom,” he said.
Zelensky added that it is very important for him to prepare all these things during months and share them with U.S. President Donald Trump.
“To find time for our joint meetings, to develop this joint plan, to put it on the table for Putin and to do everything that President Trump says. He can impose sanctions or put pressure in any way, in any case, how he wants. And after that, to stop this war in 2025, make peace in Ukraine. This is our plan, that’s what we really want, and that’s what we will try to do,” he added.
