Russia currently keeps no warships on combat duty in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
The Ukrainian Navy reported this in its operational update as of 06:00 on March 20, 2025, on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov,” the post says.
The Ukrainian Navy added that four Russian naval vessels are deployed in the Mediterranean Sea, of which three are Kalibr carriers with a total salvo of up to 26 cruise missiles.

In addition, it is reported that in the past 24 hours, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in Russia’s interest: five the Black Sea, of which two moved on toward the Bosphorus Strait; and two – to the Sea of Azov, both moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
As reported earlier, the Black Sea maritime security issue is among those discussed during ceasefire talks.
