Russians launched an attack on Kharkiv using Shahed drones, initial reports indicate that debris from a drone struck a residential building.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram.
“According to preliminary data, debris from a drone hit a residential building,” Syniehubov wrote.
Emergency services have arrived at the site, and the consequences of the attack are being assessed.
Syniehubov also mentioned that one of the strikes occurred in Novobavarskyi district, hitting an open area.
Another Shahed drone hit near a private house in the same district, causing a fire.
Earlier, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that a Russian Shahed drone had struck Novobavarskyi district.
“Preliminarily, a Shahed strike occurred in Novobavarskyi district. However, the information is being verified. Stay in shelters, as more enemy drones are approaching the city,” Terekhov stated.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on March 12, a Russian attack drone struck a private residential area in one of Kharkiv’s districts.
