
During an air raid alert in Chernihiv, a Russian strike drone hit a residential building causing several cars in a parking lot to catch fire.
This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, as cited by Ukrinform.
“A strike on a multi-story building has been recorded. Cars in the parking lot have caught fire. Information on casualties is being clarified,” he wrote.
Later, Bryzhynskyi provided an update: “A nine-story building was damaged. The fire in the parking lot has been localized. Currently, there are no reported casualties.”
All emergency services are working at the scene, and a coordination center for eliminating the consequences has been set up.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians launched another nighttime attack on Ukraine with several groups of Shahed drones.
