
A Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih has damaged civilian infrastructure, leaving one person dead and multiple others injured.
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, confirmed the strike in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports:
“Kryvyi Rih. Missile attack. We understand the situation and are already responding. Please follow information hygiene,” he said.
Shortly afterward, Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported: “A fire broke out. Civilian infrastructure was damaged. There may be people trapped under the rubble.”
He added that authorities were assessing the extent of the destruction.
Later, Lysak said that a 53-year-old man had been killed in the strike.
“Three people were injured. All have been hospitalized. Two are in serious condition, while one woman sustained moderate injuries,” he said.
