A shooting near a college campus in Inglewood injured at least one person, according to police.
Police responded to the shooting before 4 p.m. Friday near Spartan College on Aviation Boulevard.
LAFD responded to an emergency medical call, where at least one person was transported to a hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
There is no active shooter, but police are still searching for a suspect.
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology is a specialized training school about a mile away from LAX.
According to Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, the suspected shooter in believed to be wearing a security guard outfit. The mayor added that police are going room to room clearing the campus building.
Newschopper4 was over the college campus, where multiple officers were seen patrolling the area.
