
The number of people injured in a Russian missile attack on Dobropillia has increased to 47, including seven children.
Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“Eleven dead and 47 injured — these are the consequences of the strike on Dobropillia as of 16:00,” Filashkin wrote.
He said that seven wounded had been hospitalized in Dobropillia and three more in more serious condition had been evacuated to Dnipro.
According to him, at least eight five-story buildings, a shopping center, shopping pavilions, and 30 cars were destroyed and damaged. Some buildings burned down almost completely.
The consequences of the shelling are being eliminated. The final amount of damage is being determined.
On the evening of March 7, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined attack on Dobropillia, using Iskander-M missiles, Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers, and Geran-2 drones. Initial reports confirmed 11 fatalities and 33 injuries. The Donetsk region declared a day of mourning for the victims.
