In the Bucha district of Kyiv region, a car collided with a truck, killing a man.
This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region, Ukrinform reports.
The accident occurred on March 21 on the Kyiv-Kovel-Yahodyn highway between the villages of Nemishayeve and Borodianka.
It has been preliminarily established that a Chevrolet driven by a 28-year-old driver was heading towards Kyiv, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a truck driven by a 41-year-old man.
The driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene of the accident.
Law enforcement officers launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by a person driving a vehicle that caused the death of the victim.
As reported by Ukrinform, a minibus overturned in Vyshneve, Kyiv region, as a result of a collision with a car, injuring five passengers.
