A group of at least three people accused of trying to steal two Kia vehicles ran into a South Los Angeles neighborhood following a car chase.
The group is accused of trying to steal one black and one white Kia sometime after 10:30 p.m. Monday. After ditching the white vehicle, all of the suspects continued to evade officers in the black vehicle, traveling through LA in a desperate attempt to get away.
Eventually, the occupants of the black Kia ditched the car near the intersection of W. 49th Street and Vermont Avenue and ran into the neighborhood, trying to hide from officers.
