Fighters from the Scorpion unit, part of the Hart border guard brigade employed drones and mortars to engage Russian dugouts trying to gain a foothold in the Volchansk axis.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this on social media, Ukrinform saw.
“In some cases, the enemy, having noticed our ‘birds’, tried to hit them with small arms fire. But that did not help,” the report says.
Fourteen Russian servicemen have been eliminated, reports confirm.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia’s casualty toll since the full-scale invasion has reached an estimated 875,610.
