Russians hit Kostiantynivka with bombs


On the morning of February 19, Russian troops attacked residential buildings in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, with air strikes.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin in Telegram.

“At least 1 person was killed and 7 wounded as a result of today’s strikes on Kostiantynivka. In addition to the victims known for certain, another person may be under the rubble of one of the houses,” the statement reads.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General on Facebook, the Russian army conducted two air strikes on Kostyantynivka at 08.50. The weapons hit dense residential areas.

Three women and a 65-year-old man were wounded in their apartments as a result of the attack. They were diagnosed with mine-blast traumas, shrapnel wounds and contusion. They were taken to hospital.

Seven minutes later, the Russian Armed Forces carried out four more bombing strikes. They hit the private sector. Two women suffered bruises and concussions. They were provided with medical care, and doctors assessed the condition of one of the victims as serious.

According to preliminary data, the enemy used six FAB-250s from the UMPC.

Four apartment buildings and 34 private houses, power and gas lines, and cars were damaged in the city.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kostiantynivka District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in the criminal proceedings on the fact of committing a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian invaders killed one and injured three residents of Donetsk region yesterday, February 18.
